Lifelong animal lover, Lorain Chester opened Glamour Paws in 1996, which has become one of the finest grooming boutiques in Fort Worth.

Lorain started her career working after school, taking care of the boarding dogs and cats of Stonewall Kennels, in Downers Grove, IL.  The owners of the kennel bred and showed Standard Poodles, Yorkshire Terriers and Italian Greyhounds. They taught Lorain to groom their in-house show dogs, which is where she started her career of 30+ years.

After moving to Texas, Lorain found a veterinarian who took her under his wing. They worked together for more than 8 years until she stepped out on her own and opened Glamour Paws.

Glamour Paws employs 6 full-time groomers, an office manager, several receptionists, and four bathers who all adore animals.

Glamour Paws offers a full line of natural pet products including Innova, California Natural dog and cat food, Espree Shampoo, Zukes Treats, Mother Hubbard Treats and Greenies.

We also have a wide variety of clothing and jewelry for pets, collars, leashes, carriers and gift items for the distinguished buyer.
